How & When to Apply.
1)Admissions to various courses will be called through newspaper
advertisements(Please Refer to "University News" column in
newspapers).
2)Application forms can be obtained in person from the following

3)The cost of the application form and the prospectus is
Rs.150(an extra of Rs.20 has to be paid as service charge to the
bank).
4)Application forms shall be send by registered post if request
is made to the Manager of the M.G.University Campus Branch of
SBT along with D.D worth Rs.200(all incclusive) drawn in favour
of :Finance Officer,
M.G.University.and payable at :SBT M.G.University Campus
Branch,Priyadarsini HiIls P.O.
5)Applications are not available from any other source.Not even
from the Unversity.
6)Prescribed application form for 2004-2005(current
year)admissions alone should be used.Forms issued during
previous years are not valid.
Eligibility
1)All those who possess the approved minimum qualification can
apply.
2)Those who are awaiting results of the qualifying exam can also
apply.But the results should be ready before the selection
process is complete(according to the requirement of the School).
3)Only the courses & their equivalents approved by hte
University shall be reckoned as minimum qualification.
4)There is no age limit for admission.
5)OBC/OEC candidates are eligible for a concession of 2%
marks.SC/ST candidates need only a pass in the qualifying
exam.(except courses mentioned otherwise).
Selection Process
1)The application forms should be sent to the address as per the
instructions given in the course applied for.
2)Courses for which the selection is based on Entrance test held
by the M.G.University:- Candidates will be called for the
test,through hall tickets issued to candidates by post.The date
& venue of examination will be as per instructed within the hall
tickets.The results will be published & eligible candidates will
be called for interview.
3)Admission list shall be published at the head quarters of the
respective Schools and at the University Campus(Public
Relations) and the candidates being selected will be informed by
post(under certifecate of posting).
4)Courses for which selection is not based on Entrance
exams--Priority lists shall be published and selection will be
held.
5)Candidates should report for the Entrance test held by the
M.G.University and interviews at their own expense.If a
candidate fails to appear for the test or inteview he/she will
lose the chance.If in case the candidate is selected and the
candidate fails to remit the fee in time then the chance is
lost.
