ASSOCIATION OF POLYMER ENGINEERS

Association of Polymer Engineers is an apex body of the Department of Polymer Engineering at School of Technology and Applied Sciences Pullarikunnu.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

• Organize various co curricular and extra curricular activities for the technical, professional and social advancement of all members.
• Provide a forum for the interaction of the members with polymer scientists, engineers and technologists from R & D laboratories, universities and industries.
• Arrange National level seminars, technical paper contests etc.
• Help and encourage participation of the members in various national and international level competitive examinations such as GATE/GRE/TOEFL/CAT/GMAT etc..
• Develop leadership qualities and organisable abilities among its members.
• Give award to mertorious students.

MEMBERSHIP

All the students of the B Tech Polymer Engineering of STAS, Pullarikunnu can join the Association of Polymer by paying a one-time membership fee of Rs 250/-. All the former students of the B Tech Polymer Engineering can become life members with a one-time payment of Rs 500/-.

ANNUAL MEETING

Every year an annual get-together of the association will be held and in that the activities for the next year will be charted out and the office-bearers elected. Amendments to byelaws can also be taken for the consideration in the annual get-together. Members can offer suggestions for improvement and enhancement of the infrastructure and course. The alumni will get an oppurtunity to interaction with the faculty and staff of STAS.
